Company History
Stages of the Company's Formation
Polymer-Apparat is a unique scientific and production association that dates back to 2003. We have been actively working to improve the quality of energy and the safety of electrical networks since its inception.
Nonlinear surge arresters in polymer insulation are our first development, which has become not only the cornerstone of our portfolio, but also the basis for further development.
In 2004, we began mass production of our core product, which was the first step towards continuous improvement and the introduction of new technologies.
SANp successfully passed the certification of FGC UES for overhead lines of voltage classes 330 and 500 kV in 2005-2006.
Since 2011, we have been developing unique products. We have created linear arresters of the RVL series together with FGC UES and the Siberian Research Institute of Energy, which have fundamentally changed the approach to building lightning protection systems, reducing the number of lightning outages and increasing the reliability of power grids.
The construction of our own full-cycle plant for the production of RANp started as our large-scale project and was built in 2012. This event was of great importance to the management and staff of Polymer Apparatus, which marked the beginning of a new era for Polymer Apparat.
The construction of our own full-cycle plant for the production of semiconductor varistors and surge arresters has been completed in 2015.
The plant is located north of St. Petersburg, at 2A Zelenaya Street, Leskolovo village.
The area of production facilities is 22,000 m²
A total of 60,000 m² on all sites across the country.
In 2020, the company's management, together with leading experts in the field of electric power industry, decided to launch the production of modern Linear Fittings for power lines and substations of all types of voltage from 1 kV to 1150 kV, taking into account the requests of power grids such as Rosseti, Lukoil, Gazprom and other energy enterprises of the Russian Federation.
