As of 2021, the company owned the world's largest gas transmission system, with a length of 175.2 thousand kilometers. Gazprom sells more than half of its gas on the domestic market. In addition, the company supplies gas to more than 30 countries of the near and far abroad. Until the end of 2013, Gazprom had the monopoly right to export any gas from Russia. After December 2013, it retained a monopoly on the export of pipeline gas.
