In May of this year, Inter RAO, under an intergovernmental agreement with Kazakhstan, entered into projects for the construction of three coal-fired thermal power plants in our southern neighbor with a total capacity of almost 1,000 MW. In August of this year, Inter RAO became the winner of the repeated competitive selection of new generation capacity for the south of Siberia – two 230 MW coal units each at Kharanorskaya GRES.
